Luca Rojas is a writer, born and bred on the Upper West Side of New York City. A first-generation Venezuelan Jew and proud child of divorce, Luca earned his BFA in Media Studies & Music from Pomona College.
In 2018, to find himself or whatever, he absconded to the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica for a year, after which he spent the better half of 2019 living in a yurt on a farm in Vermont. Nowadays, like most New Yorkers, he lives in Echo Park or Silver Lake (depending on who’s asking), where he spends most of his time working as a screenwriter and copywriter.
Luca has worked in brand strategy, cross-disciplinary copywriting, and video content development for clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Netflix, HBO, Glenfiddich, Smirnoff, and Google, amongst others. He specializes in out-of-the-box creative strategy, multi-platform content writing and development, culturally-informed campaign narratives grounded in research and consumer insights, writing and facilitating pitch decks in coordination with design and account teams, creative copywriting and ideation — from OOH and digital content, to long-form editorial and social media — as well as client presentation and campaign execution. Passionate, obsessed with culture, detail-oriented, and results-driven, Luca prides himself on delivering best-in-class work across a variety of multimedia platforms, voices, channels, and content verticals.
